CIMPA-UNESCO-ARMENIA
School
Nonlinear analysis and Geometric PDE
Objectives :
The aim of this School is to introduce the students to the recent
developments in the theory of nonlinear partial differential equations,
espacially the geometric ones. The courses will be delivered by leading
scientists in the field and will open to the participants new important
areas of research.
Organizers :
H. Shahgholian (KTH, Stockholm, Chair, Sweden), N. Arakelian (Nat. Academy
of Sciences, Yerevan, Armenia), A. Hakobyan (Yerevan State University,
Armenia), H. Mikayelyan (MPI MIS, Leipzig, Germany)
Working languages: English
Date and location:
CHANGE OF DATE

media equation and geometric methods in non linear PDE
Henri Berestycki (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, France):
Reaction-diffusion equations and propagation phenomena
Yann Brenier (Université de Nice-Sophia-Antipolis, France): Optimal
transport, convection and magnetic relaxation
Stefan Luckhaus (Universität Leipzig, Germany): Minimal surfaces, free
boundary problems and geometric measure theory
Nina Uraltseva (St.Petersburg State University, Russia): Regularity of free
boundaries in Obstacle-type problems
