Objectives :
The school intends to introduce PhD students and young researchers to combinatorial commutative and computational algebra and to enable them to receive the required knowledge for doing significant research in this area of mathematics

5. Naoki Terai (Saga University, Japan), Basic Properties of Stanley-Reisner Rings

6. Volkmar Welker (Marburg, Germany), Combinatorics of Triangulations and Hilbert-Series

Prerequisites:
PhD students and young researchers. The prerequisites are basic knowledge of Commutative Algebra and Topology. Some skill in the use of Computer Algebra systems is desirable.
