School on «Computer Science Security»

Associated to the CARI'98 Conference, sponsored by CIMPA.

Objectives:

Computer security and privacy are becoming challenging topics, due to the fast evolution of Internet services, specially in the domain of electronic commerce. The school provides a concrete presentation of these problems, the current solutions as well as research issues leading to futures solutions. The following themes will be addressed: the security of open systems, the safety and security of communications, the security of cryptographic protocoles, with electronic commerce as the main application.

Working languages:

French and English. The talks will be given in French.

  • Typing and mobile code security. Michel Mauny (INRIA-Rocquencourt, France)
  • The design of security protocols. Martin Abadi (Digital Equipment Corporation, Systems Research Center, USA)
  • Formal verification of electronic commerce protocols and of security architecture. Dominique Bolignano (Bull-Dyade, France)
