Paraguay

CIMPA initiated a cooperation with Paraguay with collaboration of spanish, uruguayan, brazilian, chilian, argentinian and french mathematicians.
The purpose is to help mathematicians from FACEN and from other faculties of the National University of Asuncion, in order to create a real master in mathematics. Besides, we plan to support some research structures.
A similar project of master in energetic with FIUNA of National University of Asuncion and Ecole Central de Paris is on progress.
A first step is to associate teams of INRIA Nice-Sophia-Antipolis, of CMM Santiago of Chile, with Professor Baran of Centro de Computatione of National University of Asuncion with the participation of CONACyt and French Embassy in Paraguay.
The research project should begin by this year and the master 1 is under discussion with all the partners.
