Iso Lomso Fellowships for Early Career African Researchers (STIAS, South Africa).
The programme is aimed at African scholars who have obtained a doctoral degree within the preceding eight years and who hold an academic position at a university or research institution anywhere in Africa. Preference will be given to candidates who have established a research programme and have completed a post-doctoral fellowship. All disciplines are considered.

The National Research Foundation (NRF) invites joint project proposals in support of its Africa bilateral initiatives in promoting and supporting continental and regional scientific collaboration in order to contribute to the socio-economic and sustainable growth on the African continent. For this round of applications, one call for Africa bilaterals is published for applications for joint research proposals between South Africa and Egypt, Kenya, Namibia or Uganda.

The L’Oréal Foundation launches the 7th edition of the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women Science Sub-Saharan Africa Fellowships to support young women scientists.
12 Fellowships of € 5,000 each, will be granted to 12 African Ph.D. Students enrolled in an African university.
2 Fellowships of € 10,000 each, will be granted to 2 African postdoctoral researchers working in a laboratory or research institute registered in one of the region’s countries.
