CIMPA-UNESCO-IRAN SchoolGröbner Bases ApplicationsObjectives :The school will present different aspects of computational methods in commutative algebras and algebraic geometry and their applications in various branches of mathematics, to introduce students and young researchers who can apply these methods in their work. Furthermore this will create an opportunity to establish a network of mathematicians from the region for collaboration on joint research projects with possibility of connections with leading experts on the subject. Scientific committee and speakers:Bruno Buchberger (RISC-Linz, Austria), Laurent Buse (INRIA, France), Marc Chardin (CNRS & University of Paris 6, France), Aldo Conca (Genova, Italy), David Eisenbud (Berkeley & MSRI, USA), Gert-Martin Greuel (Kaiserslautern, Germany), Lorenzo Robbiano (Genova, Italy), Marie-Francoise Roy (Rennes 1,France), Amin Shokrollahi (Lausanne, Switzerland), Bernd Sturmfels (Berkeley & MSRI, USA), Bernard Teissier (CNRS & Jussieu, France), Rashid Zaare-Nahandi (IASBS, Iran, local coordinator).
