Orthogonal Families and Semi-groups in Analysis and Probability
Objectives : Present the basic elements of the theory of Semi-groups related to orthogonal
expansions. Discuss and compare the analytical and probabilistic aspects of
the theory. Introduce the students to recent and varied applications of this
theory.
